Old Air Products out of fort Worth has the best performance design. They may even have a kit that fits your car. But their design is different in that the fan is a draw through the coil so the inlet of the fan it's not exposed to the interior and as a result it's quieter and gives better and more consistent air flow through the full face of the coil..

I installed the VA product myself in my PU and it was well planned, well designed and well built. AC blows cool, heat and defrost work better than any old car I've ever had.

Old Air was my choice so I could remove my stock radio if needed. They will freeze you out on medium fan. VA does offer floor heat and can convert your stock heater controller as does OAP. I made my own panel. IMG_3882.jpeg

I’ve used Old Air products on my shoebox and it was an easy install and worked great. Looked like the original heater box. I might put a VA in my woody because it’s a really big car and I know they will freeze you out.

VA Classic Auto and Old Air make good stuff. Flip a coin to see where you go. VA has more electronics in my opinion

I've installed about 6 AC units. All but one was VA and all from here on will be VA. The first one I installed was not.
