  2. No major progress to report, however I have made a slight change of plan for power.
    I scored a couple 58-62 full flow oil filter 261 engines, I spent last Sunday prepping one for the machine shop.

    I didn't take any before photo but I think every gasket on this engine must have be leaking!

    The thermostat byp*** was completely blocked!

    I often wonder how many overheating issues that get blamed on copper/br*** radiators that are really due to dirty blocked coolant p***ages/systems that have never been cleaned!

    What you are asking about more is the dead preach on the left and a slider on the right.

    They are adjustable by unbolting the spring and moving it up or down, this changes the ride height/cross weight for handling.

    I also built the spring mount, so it is adjustable as well....
