Shout out to 41 gmc. Got his very generous package with a whizzer hat from the 80’s and some stickers. The box it was shipped in might even be cooler than the stuff he sent me! Thanks again. I ordered the rest of the parts to rebuild the engine so hopefully it’s running in a month or so. Then I’ll get it driving and stopping. Then decide if I want to “restore” or drive as is.
You are very welcome Matt! So cool that the box showed up today on your porch! Matt isn't the only one of the members of the H.A.M.B., that has received packages from me in the past. One of the things I really enjoy doing, in regard to the special packaging and especially the custom wrapper I make from white butcher paper and various photos cut out of various random publications and then using industrial 2" wide stout packing tape. It makes for great entertainment for those workers at the post office, on both ends of the shipment and all points in between as the box makes it journey, cross country to its destination! Plus the recipients, usually very carefully, slice open the box, to save it as unique artwork, of sorts. I am sure Matt wont mind, if I show how this particular box was decorated!
