Gary Matranga T at top half of magazine page. Start with a '57 vintage 392 Chrysler, add Forgedtrue pistons, Howards aluminum rods, Donovan rockers and valves, Clay Smith cam and valvetrain, Velasco crank, and Donovan oil system. Then top it off with a Vertex mag, 6-71 Jimmy, and a 4-port Hilborn injector, and you've got some serious street sounds. It's backed by a B&M Torqueflite, and underpinnings include a 2x4 tube frame, '77 Vette independent rear, Deuce Factory 4-bar front, four-wheel disc brakes, and a set of dragster-size tires. Thanks for these- I’ve only seen a couple of these before. I love this car- probably my favorite bucket.

A group of us went to the Windsor Area Street Rods Campout in 1982. Tim's car sat so low that a bunch of us had to lift the front end to get it across a railroad crossing.
Price one pays to be low. That exhaust though. Really hard to find folks that do custom exhaust like that any more.
I took these at the 2017 Portland Roadster Show. I don't know if it predates the 1965 ***le of the thread.
Local to me, saw it in the 70's around here a lot. Yes, on the "blower". Full article Here: https://www.hotrod.com/features/the-scrounge-december-1972-982-682-125-1
Wow, someone's paying attention! I'm surprised the "dummy" blower" tirade didn't erupt from the HAMB blower police. It does seem odd that Gayle didn't include an operational drive on it, but he danced to his own drums, as you are well aware I'm sure, It was fairly popular during that era. Bob, there was a T-bucket in the magazines years ago that you no doubt recall, the photos show it in the (I think) San Diego Chargers stadium parking lot, if I remember correctly it was owned by a football player, it had the outrageous angled twin blower setup with Enderle injectors, real or not, this kid was quite impressed.
Also from the forum. I admired these guys for the TF look, but didn't want one as much as a more 'normal' one.
More shameless grabbing from the T forum. Thanks to Big Ayers over there. He's here too. From Hollywood Nights
Seems there is an event in St. Louis area. Grabbed this pic from coverage over on the bucketeer site. Thanks to Spanky over there.
Top pikky was the day I hit the concrete wall at the dragstrip. The month before I had done my first (and only) 9 second run (9.95 @ 145). Sold the car on and its new owners rebuilt it and its back on the street.
Ouch! I take it you are okay. @Dave G in Gansevoort would probably like to pick you brain about a roll bar/cage. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/the-whatever-project.1207045/
