Went to a swap meet today and did some horse trading with a fellow friend. I made some room in my garage and he made some room in his garage but we both traded for each others junk so now the spaces are taken up again View attachment 6540906 But it was a very worthwhile venture. After we traded our wares, we headed inside. My son came with me as well which was nice because he was feeling well today. We headed inside and commenced picking. -snap on wartime kra-21 . Super solid box just needs some love and hopefully removal of the crappy "patina" someone applied to it which makes it look terrible in my opinion. My friend even graciously threw in a bunch of AN marked military crows feet! He also gave me a box of Plomb wf tools which I'm stoked on. -also got a proto flying lady 3/4 drive box set with all proto la tools. Ratchet is a cool pass through style which I dont have. -vintage gulf lighter fluid can with nice logo, glass oil bottle, texaco home lubricant can, 1941 marked Ford carb gasket kit, Mobil gas polish tube and box! - giant 4' long mahew pry bar with striking cap for $40 - Plymouth repair manual ('46-'54) and Mopar catalogs!
Pretty good haul. I like the Ball oil company, I believe they were in competition with Mason and Corona…
I’ve been looking for one of these for a while and thanks to a PM I got from Moriarity last week this came in the mail today.
Oh noooooo! Not the woodie Thank god you didn’t breach etiquette and go straight for the triple dog dare otherwise I’d be obligated wouldn’t I?!? I’m gonna put it on the Tudor whenever I get out there this week and install the fuel pump and glass pack. My wife went to the cancer doctor a couple of weeks ago and got a clean bill of health from him but brought Covid home and all of us are recovering from that. I can only imagine how bad we would’ve been without all the vaccines
Oh yeah these also came in today. I picked these up from @kb cookout when he first posted the shoebox goodies in the classifieds. $150 for the pair and you can’t beat that with a stick! I kinda wished I got the wheel well for the spare but I already had a couple of good used ones in the shed.
The radio for the 47 Merc showed up today . Thank You Alan it’s in better shape than what you lead me to believe. I’ll probably get some Kustom knobs . So the different knobs won’t matter . Thank you
These were in production until fairly recently and at a very reasonable price, I'm really sad I didn't get the chance to buy one. I heard a rumor that someone else got the tooling for them and might make another batch. If they do, I'm going to get one for my '41 convertible.
Found this headlight today, what brand is it? Bracket tells me it was on a truck or COE. Stamped Seal Beam on the back of the bucket. Bit larger that an Arrow. Thank you! Bob
