Rebuilding a 38 Ford 1 1/2 ton dually. Would like to do a brake conversion to disc brakes on front and back. Any suggestions on kits for the these bigger trucks? I’ve found them for the 1/2 tons. Appreciate any help.
I doubt there is anything made for big trucks. Maybe have to put modern axles under it. Try calling Chucks Trucks, he would know
You might check over on the FTE. I seem to remember someone using mid '80's front brakes from a F250 on a early big Ford truck. But as usual I might be wrong. No clue as to the rear. Probably need to convert to a later rear end.
