5 of the Assorted Nuts made the adventure to the ROC this year from South Carolina. We had a blast. The scenery was awesome and the collection of cars was beyond belief. @Just Gary tons of guys drive them from every coast. A lot of the people who go to the old state invitational drive over. Once you get towards the middle of the country a lot of the routes convene, I bet you could land in a convoy pretty easy.
Sooooooo, we were posers and rented a Chrysler mini van. In all reality it would be a dream to drive. Unfortunately the reality of the vacation time needed to comfortably do so was not present . With that being said MANY did drive a great distance. A guy named Erik from Nebraska was at the Race of Gentleman the weekend before and was at the ROC the following weekend. Bad ass blown flathead model a coupe with a roof rack. 3600 miles, 17 states in 13 days.
Anyone have a count of how many cars were on the reliability run? Thanks for getting a few pic's of that 32 Sedan with the patch work roof. Haha
It’s typically a couple hundred. Last time I sat and watched cars leave for about two hours. It’s really a site to see!
