This is the one you've been looking for! A brand new, "s****" pedal just like Henry Ford's! Although this one is very vintage looking on the one side, the arm that goes against the firewall is much more modern, making this pedal a breeze to install. The two arms are reversible, in that you can mount them with the pedal arm on the right OR left side, depending on your application. Made out of stainless steel. To look at it, it resembles an original, old style Ford "s****" pedal, except it's anything but! It comes with a nicely shaped mounting bracket already powder coated gray, with two #8 mounting holes that are 1 1/8" apart. (These could possibly be opened up to a #10 or even a 1/4" if desired, you determine.) It rotates on an all new multi-splined shaft so you can position it where you need it. The shaft rotates on two brand new nylon bushings for SMOOTH operation. The two arms are held in place by two new chrome ****on head machine screws. This beautiful pedal is reminiscent of both Henry Ford's originals (on the lower arm) and Pete & Jake's famous "M-V" throttle pedals (on the upper, throttle cable, arm). This way you get the advantages of the original style with the ease of installation and use of a modern throttle pedal! The size of the upper arm hole for your throttle cable or throttle rod attachment is a #10. This pedal comes in bare stainless steel (no rust) and is ready for paint, powder coating, polishing, or just left as is. (My favorite look.) SPECIAL NOTE: This item has been reworked a little. Now only one cable mounting hole, NOT two as shown in the pictures. Also, this last batch came out more silvery in color than the dark gray.
