The Hot Rod Revival 5 is just under a month away. The event will take place in ***ming and Dawsonville, GA on November 14th and 15th. We have room for around 100 cars and spots are filling up fast. One of the Zealots member's son built us a website for registering. For anyone that wants to go please use the website to register so we can plan accordingly. https://www.thehotrodrevival.com For this one we plan to meet at the Zealots clubhouse Friday afternoon. From there we will head to the ***ming City Center where they will shut down the Main Street area for our cars. There will be a concert from a Doors tribute band starting at 7. The City Center has a brewery, amphitheater, mini golf course, and lots of good restaurants to grab food at. For Saturday we will be doing a reliability run from the Zealots clubhouse to Amicalola Falls State Park. Once at the park we will check out the highest waterfall in Georgia and have breakfast at the lodge. From there we will head back south to the Dawsonville square for a behind the scenes tour of a vintage boat restoration shop and private collection. Following that is a barn party back at the Zealots clubhouse with live bands, BBQ, swap meet, and fun with Hot Rods and Customs. We have a host hotel very close to the Zealots clubhouse for out of towners and also some camping options. I will add the host hotel info to the thread soon. Feel free to PM me with any questions
Getting closer to time! We should be at peak fall leaf color on the back roads we will be taking for the Reliability Run. Gonna be just right for some great pics and scenery. We have space set aside for a swap meet so bring your extra parts and some cash for buying stuff. I'm thinking of selling off a good bit of my shifter knob collection...
Next week! Looking forward to seeing every one. Weather forecast is looking great. We still have a little room, get those registrations in. It's going to be a lot of fun!
Here are my pics. I wasn't able to take many Saturday, but got some good ones from the Friday night cruise in
I did get a couple pics showing the really cool lighting and effects while the last band was playing Saturday night
