here is the tutorial on how to post pictures. It is ridiculously easy. Make sure that you select "full image" https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/how-to-post-images-on-a-thread.922350/
Hello, Whatever you use to take your photos, (phone or digital camera) save them to your computer/laptop files as jpegs. That is a designation for most acceptable photos to post on most any website. But, first, you have to save them to your own photo files. Copy and paste them on the thread: put the photo in the provided space and see how large it is. Most of the time, upload a file gives you a choice and the large file may be too large for the post and look blurry or fuzzy. So, if the large photo is too big, then you have to resize your own photo. But, it you resize your laptop photo, then for ever, the size of the photo is going to be smaller than when it was taken. Now, here is the alternative that is safe and easy to do. Jnaki Posted on the Post Photos section of the “Questions & Suggestions” part of the HAMB. There should not be a problem from any phone camera or any digital camera. Save your photos as JPEGs. Most digital en***ies do so automatically. Now, with those saved digital photos, sometimes, they are posted as very large photos on certain websites. But, why do all of this on your dinky 6 inch screen? if anything, you want your larger laptop screen or home computer screen to do your writing or photo adjusting. It is so much easier on a larger screen for all purposes. Taken with an old digital camera. When this standard digital photo got posted to the reply box, it took up a lot of space. I had to adjust it to make a better size for inclusion on a story. But, when I clicked on the full size image tab, it got quite a bit larger. Since the photo was in total focus and clear, the full size enlargement did not make it blurry or fuzzy as some images do, when they are copied and enlarged from internet photos. Those are copied photos and not real Jpeg photos taken with a good digital camera. It does not matter if the digital image comes from a phone or not. My Android phone and my wife’s Apple 16 phone gives off super clear photos, as long as we are not moving when the ****on is pushed. So, any enlargement comes out clear. We save them as Jpegs and from that point on, whether sending them to friends or relatives, they remain clear and nice. Sometimes they are too large for my tastes to add into short written stories. So, I have to take the photo in my laptop photo program and reduce the size of the image. It can also be done on a simple Word Do***ent with the image reducer tabs on each photo. If you want to keep the photo image larger, but want to cut out the larger background edges, this Word Do***ent allows you to cut the image down to size without messing up the original photo. T******* is a good name for that process. The larger screen and laptop processes make life easier with the programs available. No need to squint into a dinky phone screen and the smallest keyboard around. YRMV
