This Station Wagon is a beautiful work in process All hard work is done Wood was a bear but came out beautiful It only needs minor ***embly as follows: Front clip needs to be installed (already painted) Headliner needs reattaching over doors & tailgate Interior wood panels need to be installed (already refinished) 2nd seat needs to be bolted in Brake lights need wiring Driver quality Chrome needs rechroming or use as is Needs new tires I have a video of the flathead running send your email & I'll send it. I'm guessing a month of weekends and a few days here and there of work and she'd be done then you'd have a Woodie!!! Mechanically, my car is sound and drives well. Everything works and the front end is tight. I took a 1600 mile trip just before starting refresh Beautiful wood done by the Wooden Carr CA car never any rust. The underside is painted and nice! 239 flathead, rebuilt, 3 speed overdrive Tailgate upper wood grained by Bob Kennedy (ca expert wood grainer) Body striped and painted Fenders and Hood also painted Interior panels are varnished Sale due to health issues Everyone loves a Woodie Many have one on their bucket list. This is an opportunity to get a quality never any rust wagon at a fraction of price for a completed car. Very little ***embly is needed ... a great winter project. The 49 thru 51 Shoeboxes are driver friendly cars that can travel the expressways in stock condition w/o being modified. The 3 speed overdrive transmission allows 70 mph while the engine is not being pushed to the max. RPMs are reduced 30%. I've been offered some deals that included trades.
