I have a Powermaster 82013 with a 131mm (5.1") crank pulley on a flathead V8. I added an adapter to the original fan, but it still won't charge at idle. It seems like the alternator pulley is too big. What kind of alternator pulley do you use?

What size belts are you running on the engine? Many guys don’t understand the idea of proper belt tension and fit. If you are running a wide belt I can hook you up with a fellow who makes the proper generator pulleys for your application. Match the pulley groove: Ensure the belt is the correct type for the pulley's groove. For example, a V-belt should fit snugly in a V-groove, with the sides of the belt making contact and the bottom of the belt not touching the bottom of the groove.

After doing that for several months and not getting any complaints, we came to the conclusion that management must be multilingual
