It may, or many not have worked, the story is lacking a few details.

 

I did a test once.
Hooked a flux capacitor to my toaster...and my toast disappeared into the future. (sigh) I ended up having a bowl of cereal instead.

A couple days later my toast did show back up, someone in the future had put jelly on it.

 

I wondered where the toast came from, I don’t even have a toaster…

 

What are we testing for? I want toast now.

 

I’m feeling testy…

Never was very good at testing

 

Good thing we had an auto shop in my high school. It enabled me to endure the rest of that mess.
