Checking in. I've been away working and in holidays, so hadn't driven the coupe for nearly 2 months. Topped up the fluids, gave a few things a tweek with a spanner, got it off the jack stands, and went for a cruise, ending up with catching @Devilrod (Brett) doing some chores. 70+° a great spring day for a cruise. No pictures unfortunately
Driving the p/up every day. We've had a beautiful mild fall, but the north winds are coming! Makes for great Sunrises/sunsets though...
Roadster is tucked away in the almost dry workshop but I need a drastic shuffle to get the Coupe in the dry. Although I have put it up for sale as something else is tempting me... Been finding a few images from throughout the year - trip to Denmark and all.
This is a question I should have asked years ago................... Where did all the guys and RACE CARS go that were in the hobby back in the 1970's? All we had back then were monthly newsletters, a desk phone, and some store in town with an Xerox machine, it was a close knit group. Did all the wheels and body parts get****embled into cars or are there still bits out there? Just wondering, I have one Winfield and a Buffalo wire wheel, miss the old days. Bob
Different scene, but I wonder the same out here, must be some large hoards of cars parked up & parts stashed.
I posted a pic a couple of months back about a friend who was producing some full front seal A & B from covers, he is working on another version with a boss that could be machined to run an accessory from the front of the cam. Cast in Alloy & heat treated, these will be available soon. Could be good for a mag drive or fuel pump? Tacho?
Been at it all day, and just finished a 24” lock ring for a set of wheels I’m currently rebuilding. All I needed was a 1000 lb steel plate, a waterjet, and a little insanity. 1 down, 3 to go…

There was someone making an OHC conversion for the Crater heads, not sure what happened to it, but might be an option??
