I too am a little jealous about lifts , seats and creapers but was brought up to be hyper-practical and with the moto of “Do the most you can with as little that you have “
At 65 years old I keep myself in good physical shape and still using cardboard on the cement floor to navigate under a car.
Of course using as many safety options to keep myself safe as well

Heck I’m using a moving blanket when I’m under a vehicle. The nice thing about using one of them is that if you get tuckered out all you have to do is pull it over you and then take a nap.:D

I just get on my adjustable work stool and bring my lift to a comfortable hight and I'm good to go.

Exactly; that works good and beats standing other than when the 4 post was at the right height for under car work on the rolling stool, it was a little hard to duck under the runners to get in the center.

That is the fun of owning it. When that day comes it'll get sold with no regrets.

You all got me beat !

I use a piece of cardboard on the floor, it's just as hard for me to get up off of the cardboard in my shop as it is getting off of the creeper at work.

Kinda goes like this, slowly and carefully roll over to my right side, then gently work on over to the side until I'm on all 4's then stand up.

Quite a few mornings start out that way just getting out of bed....

That’s really cool, do what you need to do to keep going.

When I had my garage built I knew I’d find a good deal on a lift so I designed it with plenty of headspace. My Backyard Buddy serves me well but for quick maintenance stuff I drag out the jack and the creeper. Truth be told I prefer a good sheet of cardboard over the creeper I have, mostly because the wheels get jammed when I try to scoot.

Yup.. I used to laugh at **** like that. With the back injury and deteriorating hip... I always have something close by to help me off the floor or ground outside.

When I got my 65" TV a couple of years back... I think I was more excited about the box than the contents
