I met a friend at this charity car show. Afterward, we headed around the corner for a late lunch. I got a "little ***istance" making the right turn into Adolfo's Taco Shop. The young lady "almost" got the full sized Chevy pickup truck stopped - Fortunately, there were no injuries.

And the Willcox police department was very professional - and emailed me the accident report when it was approved - "The reports are free to the victim".

The claim is currently in the hands of the at-fault drivers' insurance company. I recently sent their adjuster more pictures. So far, everything has proceeded smoothly.

Russ is fine. The high back racing seats he installed saved his neck.

I'm OK. The young lady almost got her truck stopped. The impact speed was well under the posted 35 MPH speed limit.

This is a unibody vehicle, the back half is bent to the drivers' side. The cost to repair is most likely beyond the value of the car. I am expecting the insurance company to declare it a total loss. The insurance claim is not currently my highest priority - Life has handed me other plans for the next few months. At the age of 81, I am grateful that I can still be of service.

And I have an off-topic truck (1986 Ford F150 with a 3.9L ***mins diesel (4bt) and 5-speed overdrive manual transmission. This picture was taken on a fun day - I turned 2 15 year olds loose with these 5 speed manual transmission vehicles (I have 2 fenced acres).
