Customs 1955 vs 1956 Plymouth Grille

  1. @Rand Man has a couple of grille pieces for sale, one piece is for a '55 and the other is for a '56 but he is not sure which is which. Can anybody tell, with certainty, which is which? IMG_2575.jpeg

    Hard to tell from the angles of the pictures of the 2 cars.

  4. They may be the same exact part but the center sections are different between the model years.

    The one on the left is a 55 and is missing the lower section where the center bar connects.

    Here's '55 parts that bolted in a '56. It's also got the '55 parking lights that bolt in. The '56 rubber bucket ones are always tore up. Wagon 4.jpg

    ‘55s have the “2 piece “ bar. Original picture is ‘55 left, ‘56 right.

    That's interesting, I always thought the outer arms were the same and only the center changed. Learn something new every day.
