Has anyone used A premium coil springs to lower an old Ford front? There's a big price difference now.
Have you priced the springs at Napa? I paid about $60 Canadian for my Aerostar springs at the local Napa but that was about 10 years ago. I did buy an A-premium driveshaft on Amazon and it seemed good quality, but no idea about the springs.
I paid $110 5 years ago for Moog. Now they are $150-200. Saw the Apremiums on Amazon. Thanks for the info.
Wow, I’d didn’t know they had gone up that much, I’d probably go with these https://www.summitracing.com/parts/mev-sms850v There’s a guy I autocross with that is an engineer for Mevotech. From talking with him I would have no problem putting mevotech parts on my car.
Thanks for the info. I see they are made in Canada. Summit is out of stock, but Amazon has them for $60 and some change. For everyone’s info Moog parts are made “Worldwide”, including China,Mexico & Canada. You’ll know where they’re made by it being on the box.
Not sure what you mean by cut the rubber stops in half. I’m putting them in a 56 TBird. I didn’t do anything special putting them in a 49 sedan.
