What OT crap are you working on

Let me introduce my new help. This is TJ, he's a badass. He's a block sanding, mig welding, buffing fool! He's one of those LS guys lol. But I can't argue with him, his junk runs 10.25 quarter mile passes and he drives it to work. His drag truck runs 6.30 1/8th mile trips. He's a genius on the LS stuff, not too shabby on the other stuff either. He's a helluva****et. And he fits in with my personality

Went into the Ca desert and picked this up with my kid today..he's gunna build a V8 Vega like he had as a teenager

 

Copied the stock brace and mounted a section from an aluminum running board on it . Gave me more of a step getting in and out of the tractor . I didn’t have any JD green paint .

Finished the steps tonight. The bottom step is mounted with pieces of a heavy conveyor belting

 

Watching sure beats doing ! makes my chest hurt just thinking about it.

I had to change the stereo display in my OT daily driver truck. It would change radio stations and try to make phone calls.

 

While Im waiting for the Camaro to be painted I've been getting pieces ready for the kids vega. I have a soft spot for 307s so I tore down a virgin 69 example. Its getting 416 HO heads and some other goodies so it should be pretty peppy in the Vega. My kid scored a 64 T bird 9 inch that I will narrow to 54.5 inches and weld on the vega brackets.

 

Little cut & buff on some bedsides. Cab is ready to paint tmrw.
