    I'd enjoy driving that!
The first few minutes would be fun, but after that, as I got more brave (or stupid), the car would override my driving skills (about 30 seconds in :D).

Mad fabrication and building skills but that wideness does not work on this type of car (30s) for me...

look at this original paint gem they destroyed. I hate that car as well as the builder now. wonder if they bothered to get the remains to someone who could use the parts or just s****ped it?
picture that with an early Hemi and some cool wheels and proper stance.
which would you like best? :(

I guess I have my old guy at***ude here; how sad is it to chop up a nice, complete survivor.

For what this ended up as a stripped field find would have been perfect since all they really used was the grille shell, hood top and body.

I typically don’t say anything about someone’s build as it is their creative expression. But there are fewer and fewer intact survivors around while rusty bodies wait to be s****ped.

It looks like an oversized Legends racer to me.

Jesus, you would think this was a restoration site. Cut em up boys, that’s what hot rodding is about.
Also I can’t imagine saying out loud that I hate someone because of the style of car they built, that’s just sad.

what is sad to me would be being too scared to express an opinion on things you do not agree with. once again, a big **** you to that guy.

while the general theme here is cut them up I'd say cutting up a nice one and only using a few parts would be frowned upon. he could have started with any old clapped out car body and built the same car. instead he chose to destroy a complete original paint car

I’m not afraid to express an opinion nor do I have a problem with you disagreeing with their choice to use that car, no problem.

My opinion is saying you hate someone because of a car they built is pretty ****ing sad.

Seeing this trend of buying a low mileage or a very nice condition intact vehicle and then pretty much using some of the tin and tossing the rest seems wrong.

Hot rodding? The cut and buffed clear over the patina, the mashup of Corvette suspension covered with outsized fenders and being not very roadworthy- according to the builder’s interview - due to the race compound tires, make this something other than hot rodding.

To me, the point is with a little looking around a more suitable candidate could have been found and if they started with this one I would have been more impressed. As I wrote before “it is probably my old guy at***ude”.
