I believe it's a SR-2 car at a Florida event, no idea on the Get Smart cone of silence though

I agree not an SR2 but a very interesting Vette. The trunk has been shorted and side cove covers.

 

After reading this car was salvaged, I'm so glad the front bumpers weren't removed and the lower pan moved up. I'm not a purist, I just think doing that always looks gooney.

 

Salvage is putting it mildly, Bill did a***** ton of work on it to get it back in shape

65 pacecar, for not owning a Corvette you sure find some good ones. Thanks for your effort.

 

That black 63 is nice. I wouldn't change a thing, well maybe I would put the fake 63 vents on the hood.

 

Dammit, this shot drives me nuts, everytime I open this thread this photo comes up first, I've always liked second generation Corvette roadsters with the removeable hardtop, what a shame.

 

Thanks, glad you enjoy them. I am a MoPar guy first, but I have a love for Vettes. I do own an OT 2000 and had a 76 Vette I wish I never sold.
