Some NSRA photos from early 70's. Rhode Island and upstate NY.

 

Found a couple more .

 

I really like this last batch of photo's, the cars and the people sitting on the ground,these photo's are from 1971, heck I'm 71 and getting on the ground is no problem, getting up is! HRP

 

Yep, you can always fall down!

 

I just think the earth's gravitational pull has increased over the past 20 years! That is what's causing my difficulties get up now days!

Not sure if anyone recognized Pete Van Iderstine with his black roadster.

 

These are pretty neat!! I recently scored about 40 vintage 1970's street rod pics, and many of the cars I see in this post are in the photos I have.

LOVE EM!!!!!! Ya gotta remember, MOST of these cars were built probably 5 years or so earlier.... And they WERE DRIVEN!!!!!!!! Keep em coming..lots of OLD build styles and correctness pre 65 if ya know what to look at.... Colors and wheels are always changing....MY .02

^^As much as I scratch my head with the oversized wheels and such, you have to give these guys credit. They DROVE these cars EVERYWHERE.
