It seems like so many people go to such great lengths to get a particular look, they often overdo it. You've kept it so simple and so perfect. Like everyone else says, Damn, you nailed it.
Saw you car at Bonneville and was stoked. Looking forward to see you at Bakersfield.

If a traditional ride gets any better than this keep it to yourself, I'm not interested in knowing about it.:) I'd love to see this one in person.

Sorry to bring a old thread to the top... Well actually I'm not that sorry since it's one of the nicest rod I've seen.

I didn't find any info on what steering box you're using. Do you have any clearence isssues mounting it that way?

I'm thinking of using a column shift on my T roadster so I can't use a cowl steering. So I was thinking I could do it like its done on the Niekamp rodsater. Then I saw your rod and seems like a similar solution.

    Regards, Magnus

    Killer ride! Nuf said.

  20. Man! Missed this the first time around, but I'm sure glad I found it.

That is one killer car, but I fear you may have started (re-started) a new craze by leaving those aprons on. Kinda gives it that Model A on a '32 chassis look. :)

Problem is, people are going to stop wanting '32s and go for the Improved As!!!

Inspirational stuff and makes me want to do a '30/'31 even more.

I'm glad this thread popped back up to the top. How did I miss it the first time?!

    That car is BEAUTIFUL.

The aprons really set it apart. Look at any old photos and most of the As had them intact.

    Man, I love it.

It takes me six weeks just to think about getting work done. [IMG]
