Any Daisy collectors out there! And yes that’s exactly the line my dad used when I asked for a BB gun - this before watching Ralphie became a holiday ritual. And like Ralphie, I would eventually get a Red Ryder for Christmas. Finally finished this rack to display a few of mine. Let’s see yours! Ron

Not a collector but I keep a few BB rifles to pissoff the noisey Crows in my neighborhood. If the around and quiet they sure like to yak when I step out of the house!

I had one and my parents definitely said be careful, still have both eyes and us dumb *** kids would have cowboy shoot outs, the only rule was no head shots. For several years I raced with a guy that always ran the top/cushion even when it was not there. So.... one night after racing at the tavern/restaurant near the track, we were talking **** and I asked him why and how did he fit between me and the wall, I was on the cushion, his reply, look into my eyes big boy after he took off his gl***es, right eye blind from BB shot to eye he said, he ran the top so he did not have to worry about what he couldn't see and he stated he knew I would not FU and crash us both. I took that as a compliment but still pissed. he won and I was second, not the only race I got p***ed on last lap to run second. MY best answer when my wife or somebody would ask what happened " I couldn't hold my breath any longer" It was big time fun and I always said when the fun stops I'll find something else, At 43 I came back to the car hobby, always a car guy will be to my end.

  6. Got one for our son at Christmas when he was about 10, still new in the box never fired ten years later. Apparently he isn’t that kind of kid. Buying a boat doesn’t make you a boater…

Got my kid a daisy for Christmas two years ago. We plunk some beer cans now and then. I use my 177 pellet for unaliving muskrats in our bay, and the kid shoots at um with his daisy, but they just bounce off anything he hits, lol. Sometimes they only dent the beer cans....

Still, it's fun and he loves it, and it's a good introduction to shooting. I don't hunt or anything but I do target shoot. The kid has a 1939 golden mountie .22 that's been p***ed down through the family, my dad left it to him when he p***ed. So the daisy is good warm ups for that when he's ready. 20231224_091345.jpg

Very true…the bb’s definitely ricochet. A low powered pellet gun is a “little” safer!

I used to have that bottom one when I was a kid! Used to pinch the skin of my damn hand with the way you pulled back that thing to **** it! Lol.... Good memories.

Man I think that was the weakest bb gun I had as a kid..... Lol. I used to use all my gr*** mowing earnings on bb guns. I must've had a dozen. This bad boy was always fun!

My guns, including a Daisy rifle, from when I stayed with my grandparents during summers. Started shooting the .22 when I was 9yrs. old. Learned to respect firearms and people, not to be afraid of them. Thank-you grandparents!
