Coming next Saturday ! We will be in our same booth, just inside the main entrance on the right, since the 90's. Hope to see some of you there.

Marty, if it wasn't for the current airline mess at the moment, it would be very tempting to fly out. Always wanted to spend a few minutes talking with you and maybe bump into Spud Miller. But perhaps it will work out another time.

Not much of a swap meet guy anymore but I always looked forward to the smaller ones here in the PNW, I've actually found some pretty neat pieces at them.
The Corvallis (not far from Albany) swap meet will always be remembered because of the rare Holley carb I found there.
    Happy hunting.

That would be a 234 mile one way road jaunt for me. I need to be selling stuff rather than buying stuff though.

Eugene is another one to have fond memories of, found an NOS 327 distributor there, it came in the original GM labeled box.

If I remember right the Eugene swap meet was at Autzen Stadium, that was many years ago.

Years ago went to Medford for a car show. Drove all the way from Yakima, WA. While there we toured an old school speed shop in the downtown area. The ole boy there had some pretty cool stuff. The shop was featured in Hot Rod magazine. Don remember the name of the shop.

  12. I was there for a wedding last July, stayed in Lebenon. Went to a few antique malls in Albany and visited Eugene. The antique malls were like here about 20 years ago (the stuff that was in them), loved it and brought some stuff home. I didn't drive around very much (4 days total and I drove), but I didn't picture it as a hot rod place as I didn't see any driving around.

And yes I don't get out much.

Are you thinking of the magazine article featuring Salem Speed Shop?

I think you are thinking of Salem Speed Shop. Pat Ganahl did an article on it.

Not looking for anything really, but planning to go anyway! I'll see if any of my friends are going when our car club meets for breakfast Monday morning. Always more fun to go with a friend! The indoor swap meet at Albany is always a great one!

A few of us from Central Oregon are gonna try to make it. Always depends on the mountain p***es whether or not it's worth the risk. Getting old I guess!

I'm still not driving yet so it will depend on if my Mrs. want to go to the swap meet. I'm sure she will be excited to go.

Billy, clearly this is a time to lie and say you are taking her for a special dinner.

On second thought she probably won’t buy that anyways….probably better to beg and grovel for her to take you.

My car came from Tangent, OR so I'll be with you in spirit. That, or you could move the meet to Korneuburg, Austria;)

How was it? We didn’t make it up, spent the day painting the new engine. Will mark my calendar for next year for sure!

Well I bought the 32 splash apron from Marty's stall so it was a good day. Found some extra factory gauges for the 61 as well. Was a good swap meet this year. Lots of decent stuff.
