Just a parts ordering update I have a new carpet and a headliner. I found a stock front and back seat and have upholstery in the works. I found a place that makes one piece quarter window gl***, just ordered that. Street Rod Gl***, in Riverside, California

  3. In somebody's collection of Vintage speed parts. Ripple pipes have been extinct for 40 years. We called those Kickstand pipes, they also made them in full length lake pipes.

They don’t have to be rippled. I might just bend some up myself. Isn’t there a place that sells those flanges and caps? I actually bought some before when I made my model A side pipes.

  5. You're right, there was a place. The name escapes me now. If you're going to hand build start with mandril bends so you have smooth curves, not exhaust shop compressed ones.

  6. Pretty sure both speedway and mooneyes sell the flange and cap kits if you build your own

  7. My memory just kicked back on. I bought the ones I have from Night Prowlers. Looks like they are no longer in business.

Yep, I found stainless 2” 90s, angle pieces for turn outs and flanges at Summit today, my son can weld that up and I’ll grind and polish them. I have thought about some of these pipes for a long time.

since I could not find little short lakes pipes available for sale, so I had to set welded up: 304 stainless steel. I will grind and polish them before installation
