The car in the foreground in the second picture is Chris's Viper bucket. Pretty wild. His older one has a blown 440. His wife's has a 360

That triggered a memory of an old Trosley cartoon.
Wild car at the gas station, the attendant with the filler stuck in the back is yelling "Shut it off, it's gaining on me!" :D

I'm not as well versed in the names of the historic T bucket builders. This one is advertised as being a 1960s show car that was rebuilt.

Mike Beesley's 1923 Plum Crazy T bucket. Originally built in the 1960's for the car show circuit. Appeared in the 1966 Oakland Roadster show. I purchased this in 2011 and did a complete rebuild of the T bucket.

It's not HAMB style in it's current guise, so I'm linking it here. Hope someone can provide some old pics. It seems like a decent deal for what's there, even without the history, although there are few things.

The seller's FB page. I can't scroll far but it should have more pics of other 23s.

While doing T searches, I came across this.
I already have too many T shirts, but I might have to pickup one of these. They have other vintage designs too.

That black with flames one is Teddy Z’s from Michigan. He told me that was around 1965 before he put a top on it. Oh, and the blower is fake too.

  12. Here's the car along with Chuck Miller and his Red Baron, in the Wyandotte Fourth of July parade. Teddy said a friend was driving his T that day. Skärmavbild 2024-07-27 kl. 04.21.38.png

White furniture is still there. My wife and I bought our couch there a couple years ago.

I will also note that the BAT venue is pretty tough on T-Buckets in general.
The super high end stuff brings money, but overall they seem to pull lower than average prices.
I'd guess that the typical buyer there isn't interested in Ts and let's face it, most are pretty wild.
Not homogeneous Black with Tan interiors, A/C and other creature comforts of modern rods.

Look at the chart and completed listings. This might be a good spot to find a deal.

Even with 2 bidders fighting in the last 10 minutes, I'd say that was cheap for the quality and uniqueness.
