  1. WOW! I don't think there's enough Bondo in the world to fix this one.

All somewhere in Israel. The Buick I suppose isn't rotting at least.

    1936 Model CX Ford (small four cylinder) ... I thought it would be a great candidate for a conversion into a replica of a CX panel van ... but I'm dreaming. 005 - 1.jpg 004 - 1.jpg 006 - 1.jpg B-75227-6 (1).jpeg

I think that's what a lot of old customs look like without the filler & paint.

This one is a little different, this truck belongs to a guy I've met in a nearby town, he's had it as long as I've known. I don't think there's a single piece on it that would be saveable if you attempted to restore the truck, but as a unit, it's still functional and still gets used every year to haul firewood. And this is the good side. For that reason, I kinda love it. It's the an***hesis to the brand new heavy duty trucks used as daily drivers on the highway that never haul anything.

Just a heads up, there's a sitting and rotting thread for off topic cars in the off topic section.

If the mods would move it, thanks.

  28. I was always curious about that......I mean, I get that back in the 50's and 60's we had a lot of import makes here in North America, but some of the foreign car/truck posts in this group had me head scratchin' wondering why it was allowed?

  29. I agree, especially since Ryan's rules say :

    4. We cover traditional '65 and older American cars only. All other threads will be deleted. We don't cover rat rods, muscle cars, mustangs, or VWs

But we do cover Anglia's, Prefect's, Austin's Fiat's, Simca's and French Flat Heads. That Mini that started this debate is a 70's model!!! JW
