we used to ride our bikes to all the local gas stations and ask if they had any stickers. for the younguns in the crowd back in the old days gas stations had mechanics that worked on cars and fixed flats rather than a junk food store.

I'm one of those anti-sticker guys, don't like stickers on my car and absolutely hated them all over toolboxes.

Now I wouldn't mind them on my shop door, but not on my refrigerator.

It don't make sense I know, but I just can't do toolboxes and refrigerators... or my cars...

Back in my day, we referred to a lot of decals in the side windows as "Full Race Windows".

Funny story, I bought a 67 Charger out of a field. I got the car loaded on the trailer and it had a few stickers on the quarter gl*** and one was for the Hi jacker air shocks with the bunny on it. I was about to hit the road and thought I should look under the hood to make sure everything was secure and to my surprise there was a bunny rabbit setting on the intake where the carburetor would mount.

Decals on my 37 Chevy coupe. Would love any information on the McBride engineered compe***ion racing machines in Tulsa, and the MRC in Houston decals or companies history!!! I bought the car out of Houston about 5yrs ago, now in the Phx area. IMG_20210430_175336957.jpg IMG_20210501_095939866.jpg IMG_20210502_102314392.jpg IMG_20210502_102453260.jpg

PXL_20251118_171843229.jpg I have a few old original water slide decals that have become quite brittle and tend to fall apart when soaked, what's the best way to keep them intact so I can use them?
a clear bonding coat would make sense but what kind?

    edit:
and what can be done with peal and stick type when they are past there peal and stick ability?

Paul, I've used this with good success....9 bucks on Amazon. I used it on old 50s/60s travel water slides I put on a vintage cooler.
