Just one more aside, I don't know what DCR is and what kind of tree is it? Any more details on it? Then back to our regularly scheduled programming.

The p***enger door bottom is sticking out pretty bad. This stuff just bothers me, it's the first thing I look at when I get into the garage. Tonight I had enough. . . . 20251007_201000.jpg 20251007_201011.jpg 20251007_202515.jpg 20251007_204341.jpg 20251007_204347.jpg 20251007_205111.jpg

Pie cut the lower cowl and opened it up with a screwdriver and added some small diameter solid rod. Finish work to follow.

Snagged a hood holder- togetherer and some cowl vent parts this weekend. Also swiped another round of 'shellac' on the lower door 8886ed0e-a5b1-47a2-8330-a9d5cfa7d00c.jpg f8b2211c-a957-4066-8cb3-6e8e67f2c5a5.jpg 20251114_175048.jpg 20251114_180357.jpg 20251114_180410.jpg 20251114_181107.jpg IMG-20251114-WA0002.jpeg

Oh yeah, I had a lightbulb moment a couple weeks ago. . . . . Mid 60s Thunderbirds had those wrap around back seats and I thought maybe that'll look cool in the 33. A few days later on the market place a kid was parting out a 64, mint 20251102_103001.jpg 20251102_101814.jpg 20251102_140414.jpg
The bottom needs quite a bit more t******* but it looks pretty slick so far

Quite the idea! That's gonna look cool. Right now it looks like you and your gal would slide toward each other in the middle, lol.

I like the seat. After you narrowed the bottom frame for it are you just tucking the vinyl for the two halves down into the center? (they are pretty wide, I have one that I want to use in my '39 Merc sedan and the whole center needs to go for it to fit.)

If the fronts are in that nice of shape I'd love to have them - do you know if they were available?

This was a fun thread to read through, you are doing fantastic work!

Wasn't sure about the yellow at first but it grew on me as I kept reading.

Do you plan on keeping it yellow or a different color?

The seat looks great! Fits like it was made for it.
