Beads not lining up. Got it cut and fit up better.

 

The p***enger door bottom is sticking out pretty bad. This stuff just bothers me, it's the first thing I look at when I get into the garage. Tonight I had enough. . . .

 

Pie cut the lower cowl and opened it up with a screwdriver and added some small diameter solid rod. Finish work to follow.

More hacking

 

Snagged a hood holder- togetherer and some cowl vent parts this weekend. Also swiped another round of 'shellac' on the lower door

 

Oh yeah, I had a lightbulb moment a couple weeks ago. . . . . Mid 60s Thunderbirds had those wrap around back seats and I thought maybe that'll look cool in the 33. A few days later on the market place a kid was parting out a 64, mint
The bottom needs quite a bit more t******* but it looks pretty slick so far

 

Quite the idea! That's gonna look cool. Right now it looks like you and your gal would slide toward each other in the middle, lol.

 

I like the seat. After you narrowed the bottom frame for it are you just tucking the vinyl for the two halves down into the center? (they are pretty wide, I have one that I want to use in my '39 Merc sedan and the whole center needs to go for it to fit.)

Wasn't sure about the yellow at first but it grew on me as I kept reading.

Do you plan on keeping it yellow or a different color?

 

The front seats were there and available when I was there.
