Best. Horn ****on. EVER! And it had to work better than Tele-Touch Shift did on the '58s.

I have a question. When driving across a desert in a car with no A/C when the temperature is probably 120 in the sun wouldn't most normal people wear shorts?

It would be cool just the way it is OR it would make something like an Edsel Ranchero which would take it to the next level. What more can I say?[/QUOTE]

I finally got around to taking the transmission out, and looking inside the overdrive. It crunched the needle bearings in two of the planet gears, and it broke the ends of a few gear teeth off. No other damage evident. I swapped in a used planet ***embly, and put it back together. It works again.

a guy nearby wants to buy the car, so maybe it will go away in the next few days.

Just when it's gonna get famous....sneak preview of the next issue of this magazine. (I think there's going to be a ten page story on the trip)

I'm surprised you still have it, I thought it would be gone by now. We're the t***els factory? Also, that's one hell of a rear view!

I still think they're very cool cars.

The eldselero idea is pretty awesome.

here we are 9 years later, and I got a hankering to see the Edsel again. Since they're doing the 10th anniversary California rally next year.

I found it. Been sitting a few years.

I wonder if I want to try to get it back? gosh, it was awful...

Any big changes planned? Or just get it back to running and driving condition, as when you sold it?

Plan to just get it on the road, fixing as little as necessary.

I had it in 2016, and I have it again. Ugh!

At least it has some "artistic" value

It's gonna be tough to find replacement windshield t***els that match, might have to make some. Otherwise, seems pretty complete.
