    This is pretty cool.

    From the description:
"My mom and dad grew up in the L.A. area in the 30's and 40's. These pictures represent some of the cars my dad had and some of the work he did at his upholstery shop. A lot of custom tops in those days. To the best of my knowledge, these photos were taken between 1941 and 1948 several years before I was born. It's slice of life and car culture of the period, I hope you find it interesting." John Blizzard Jr

    Edit: Wait, there's more !

" have a ton of slides from the late 50's to mid 60's, most are just family outings but quite a few offer a window into the car culture of the day. My mom took most of them. She had a Kodak Pony 135 and slides were the chosen platform." John Blizzard Jr

Great share. You know a car is done right when it can stand the test of time and fads.

Thank you. I am amazed how clear and crisp those pictures are unbelievable. I’d love his 34 with the sidewalls and full fendered skirts.

Wow! These are some of the great early rods that the GI's in Europe heard about that inspired them to go back to wherever they came from and spread the gospel!

Thank you for sharing the video! It so cool to see the cars from back in the day. I'd love to have anyone of them.

Those are wonderful! I agree, looking at the background is just as interesting as the main subject.
