Great video.......I was there when everything was moved out into the sunlight on a beautiful day and auctioned off by
Vanderbrink Auctions. There was a little bit of everything......and some awesome cars. I have known brother Dennis for probably 30 yrs. Always glad to see him at the Fall Swap Meet in Greenfield Iowa in early September. Really enjoyed discussions of their big trip to Bonneville and setting records with the flathead powered coupe. These guys were true car guys thru and thru.

 

Jack Slaymaker sounds like a great guy.
A preservationist with the resources and
time to rescue and bring hot rods back
to life, I was not able to meet him.

The wood rocket ship found a new home
a few days later with my welder Reg
in Sharon Center, Iowa.
