Folks Of Interest Legendary French Lake Auto Parts Video Visit

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by trulyvintage, Nov 22, 2025.

  1. My visit to French Lake Auto Parts
    started with a delivery to
    second generation owner
Skip Nolan which led to an
    interview with Mr. Floyd Nolan
    who started the business with
a dime in his pocket and a
    business partner.
What began as a s**** metal
    business in 1956 has turned
    into a third generation family
    business known worldwide as
being one of the finest vehicle
    and part sources for collectors.

I could spend a day (or two) wandering around there!

It isn't Fred , it was Floyd Nolan that started French lake auto parts. Skip is @396skip here

  4. Thanks for pointing that out.
    My mistake, has been corrected.

  5. I was just going to interview Mr. Floyd
but then I started walking the rows and
ended up staying a good part of the day.

I recommend customers to them when we do not have what they need.

I went there 15 years ago looking for a 1937 Plymouth windshield frame. I found 5, and there might have been more. I need to go back and grab some Studebaker trim. Nice video, thanks for posting it!

  8. Thanks !

I was dropping off a 1963 Chevy Nova
project car with a trailer full of parts
    to Skip Nolan …
