The original steering box in my 50 Olds is totally warn out. I was wondering if anyone has replaced one with a newer PS box. If I change the box, I will also put in a newer tilt column to match the transmission shift pattern. Has anyone done this?

From measuring my 50 Olds box and the measurement of the 605 that members here have posted the 605 is not a bolt in. From Weedburner 40 "The spacing on the 605 is the same as the 800 and the 525 which is 2 13/16 on the two lower holes and 4 7/16 between the lower and the upper holes." My 50 olds is 3.5" c to c on the bottom and 4" from bottom to top hole c to c. Does anyone else have any other suggestions of a power steering box to use in my 50 Olds?
