I'm considering pulling the electric pump and replumbing the fuel system but cant seem to find accurate info on the fuel pump rod. Do the early Hemi's use the same rod as either big or small block Chrysler? Engine is a '54.

I think Hot Heads sells an adapter that utilizes a 340 Chrysler fuel pump and rod.

I noticed the adapter but not convinced the rod is included. If a B/RB or small block is the same as early Hemi, I'll be looking for an NOS piece. There are too many unfortunate endings with using aftermarket rods.

The adaptor is just an adaptor. There's been problems with OEM F/Ps for a decade or 2. **** out fairly quickly. A buddy with a 354 installed a new/rebuilt one and it wouldn't run, turned out the rod on it was bent enough to miss the eccentric. So he straightened it. Worked fine for 50 miles until the rod fell off, snapping the 1" OEM timing change. I used the HH adaptor & LA F/P on my 331.

I used the HH adapter on my 331 with the Mopar small block pump. Works fine.
