****! Hate hearing this, you guys are so nice. I had my own battle last year, and all I can say is, keep on fighting!

 

Cancer really does ****. Wife had lower part of lung removed and going thru chemo now. Next week I go in to have prostrate removed for same reason.

 

Deuces, seeing her with the pets. The dog looking at her adoringly. You can tell she was a good person. I wish I could say something to make it better but no one can, except to say I’m sorry. It’s seems cancer has screwed us all in some way. I wish we could hit back at it. But I guess by us living and carrying on we are all doing it.

 

How is this thread considered off topic?

 

If everyone posted about our lovely ladies and families, takes away from the cars I guess.

The ex in question for me was also a blond. Lol. Prissy biker chicks in late teens (I was 19 lol). She had a Harley that'd make most Harley guys cringe. 1976 amf Harley with a sissy bar and a mildly extended front end with a hard to explain custom purple paint job. Cringe part isn't even the AMF part. Her dad thought a proper Harley engine was too much for a new rider so he stuck a small Yamaha engine on it lol. First time I saw her ride it I a black leather halter top that showed a lot of cleavage (and she had a lot to show lol) and purple leather pants to match the bike I also fell into the wrong head doing the thinking. Not only did she go to school with my wife I dated her the beginning of the same year I met my wife.....dated the near shotgun wedding pinup in January 2004 and met my wife December 2004 lol. I'll see if I can find a pic of Angela. My wife definitely aged better than her so even without the crazy I apparently chose well lol

Yes, the bucket build was during the 15 year stint with the girlfriend, much less stress and crazy **** around here now. Lol

Edit : I do still have my 41 from the 10 yr marriage that ended in the 90's, I got smarter and didn't lose anything with the live in girlfriend thing.

I took the time to go through all 10 pages this morning and I have to admit it put a huge smile on my face and at the same time I had tears in my eyes reading about some of you guys loosing that loved one, a lot of you have been married for more than a half century and I salute you, I can only hope you younger guys and gals have a long happy life together.

I am a man of faith and I offer my thoughts and prayers to those who have health issues in your life, again it is a pleasure to see all the photos of happily married folks, I wish you many more years together. HRP
