I'm a huge fan of the original Dragnet. From 1951 through 1959, 276 episodes aired. Of those 276 episodes, only around 60 are available to be viewed. I was reading that the company that owns the original rolls doesn't see any value in converting them over to digital. Makes me sick to my stomach. I can't imagine a world without all of the original episodes of Gunsmoke in it. I personally think that people would get a kick out of the 1950s Dragnet in full if the episodes were converted over to digital. Is there a way to start a pe***ion or something that might get the ball rolling in my favor? A world with more Dragnet in it has to be a better place, right?
Dragnet for this 78 yr old rodder was one of my favorite shows growing up in the 50’s. Joe Friday always had a “quick answer to any problem that occurred.”
