true but fake, because road work signs are orange, not yellow...

 

I took this picture in October 2021 in Hawaii. I'm not sure even then much road work had been done

"Road Construction" = Revenue Enhancement and it only has one goal, and its not improving the roadway.

 

And yet another sign for a chuckle...

 

Have you noticed that the old orange road construction signs used to say :
Caution, Slow
Men Working

The modern orange signs have removed the "slow" from the "men working" signs?
Also, if you encounter an actual construction site where actual work is being performed, have you noticed there is normally as many (possibly more) men standing around watching as there are men that are actually doing anything construction related?

 

Has always been thus, has it not!

Funny joke about that..

There was a road work crew that got out to the job site and discovered that they left their
shovels back at the shop. The foreman called his supervisor and told him what happened.

The supervisor said, "No problem, I'm heading out to you now and I'll bring them."

The foreman then asked, "Welll, what should we do in the meantime?"

To which the supervisor replied, "Oh, in the meantime, just lean against each other."
