Here's a picture with the 11 inch setback.

Got my tubing racks done and somewhat organized. Moved the car over a little and leveled up.
So now I can get started on making the other frame horn.

Now one can see why I just couldn't leave the rail just straight out the front. I see my vision coming together.

I have several options but leaning towards one of my 409 engines. What ever it will be it will be back by a top loader 4 speed.

Wouldn't a Super Duty 421 be more appropriate?

We know you have more 409's laying around than the general population but come on...

Don't have any Pontiac engines in my stable. They did use 409s in Canadian Pontiac.

Looking great James, You are right, could not leave it with straight frt frame rails. Your creation of the rails makes it much more stylish and unique compared to most g***er cars being built. Happy Thanksgiving buddy.

You should start manufacturing those. They really dress up a boring frame!

Playing around with the steering location. I do know I want the drag link as level as possible. I may need a box that is reversed from this one. Not sure yet.

Still playing with the steering and think I'm getting it close. Also checking the caster and I'm just under 10 degrees at this point. Doing a lot of reading on this subject a lot say 5 to 7 not sure if my just under 10 will work. This car will be race only and has a 122 inch wheel base.

When the stance of the car changes, the caster degree will change, might want to just tact the axle for now, until the 409, front clip and body is on the springs with all 4 wheels on the floor

Finally out of the kitchen and got a start on welding up the new frame pieces. Figured I would jump around and side to side so I don't tie this in a knot.
