    Ford Popular/Anglia. Popolino? :)
    I added a couple of inches to the nose to stop it looking too stubby.
    Also the other main thing is stretching the rear fenders back to meet the back of the 'bustle', so they visually match the length of the fronts. I think Henry was trying to save metal, as the original rear wings are pretty sawn off looking.

    Someone in Australia was building an Anglia coupe, many years ago, I can't remember if it was a 3 or a 5 window... Cool concept.

    Could be done relatively easy using a Simca/Fiat 500 roof.

  11. Heres a Austin A40 Somerset 4 door conversion in U.K. Wind all the windows down and it,s a 3 window.

  13. 1940 Mercury 1939 Merc 3 window coupes a .jpg

    Found one more of these 3 window Mercs.

    I really like the 1939 - 1940 Mercury customs converted into 3 window coupes. Same concept between them, yet they all have their own flavor!!! They are definitely very innovative and stylish, and I'd cruise all of them...
    The white primer 40 Merc was built by John Aiello at Acme Auto for John Lemoine
    The yellow 40 Merc was built by Jason Graham Hot Rods for David Trent
    The brown 40 Merc was built by Custom Paul for Rod Davis
    The black and bare metal 40 Merc was built by Seth Borden and Christian Sosa of Sosa Metalworks for Seth Borden
    The gorgeous blue 40 Merc was built by Rob Ida Concepts for Jack Kiely
    The green 39 Merc was built by Menges Twins for JR Rodriguez
