    My ba*****t bathroom:

Old small roll around toolbox bottom is now the Cherry Bomb cabinet. Made the TP holder from a GM pulley, the used cam from my Nailhead, and a couple of SBC valves welded together. The flamed curtain was sewn by my late mother from bar towels.

The vanity light is of course, a Hemi valve cover, the mirror is a SBC to Flathead trans adapter, the corner shelves I made from old license plates (EZ PIK UP was one I had when I was single & 301-MEL was one of my wife's former plates), the light switch and outlet plates are motorcycle license plates, and the parts washer is...

The sink! I used an RV folding faucet.

and the stupid lamp I made from a Ford Custom trim piece I found half buried on my property, a '47 Dodge carb, '63 Chevy hub cap, Fram air filter, '57 T-Bird crossed flags chrome, and yes, the key switch turns it on/off.

IMG_0875.JPG My wife lets me keep a piece of stainless trim that Gene Winfield signed simply because she had met him at car shows and he paid more attention to her than he did me but I expected that to happen.

My shelves of model or toy cars are too ******** dusty to show and remind me that I need to have a Moriairty style house cleaning on the shelves around the fireplace. = haul everything out, clean, clean everything as it goes back.

@BJR, if you don't want this stuff to be included in your thread send me a PM and I'll delete it.

The only stuff I have that really truly fits BJR's original scope is all out in my shop. I haven't been out there in quite a few days and until I get over this creepin' crud (winter cold) I won't be leaving the house. But here are a few items that are auto/hot rod related in my den/museum:

The drawing of the front of an F-1 is part of the box that GV Gordon sent me some stuff in. He drew the art on the box:

A**** other things a 1964 Chevrolet yardstick listing Chevrolet, Chevelle, Corvair, Chevy II, and Corvette. I've had all of these except the Chevy II (not all '64s though); yes, those are actual albums that I bought way back then:

Just flip it inside up, on a cradling stand, and you have a spill proof table top.
    Cool.

None. My shop is my domain and the house is my wife's. She would not be enthusiastic about automobilia as a decoration in the house and I don't want her decorating/arranging my shop. :D

My wife has been a huge participant and has been involved with my automotive hobby and life style since before we got married, when I was 19. This coming May, that will be 50 years ago, for those of you wondering. I can't imagine living the life we have enjoyed without her participation. The house we live in is a direct result of our automotive life style. We bought this house 24 years ago because it is a business zoned location I was able to move my automotive related welding shop to. The shop is my domain, but I allow her car to be parked in it along side of my truck (unless work space is needed for a day or two).

Be ***ured the house is her domain, and all the decorations in the entire house are all by her choice. Part of her domain has always included things based on our life style. Through out our home, each room has a decoration theme chosen by her. One of those rooms is what we call "the computer room." Before I retired, that room was my shop office and is where I spend a lot of my time these days, so it holds most of the automobilia I posted earlier. There are rooms where there is not anything automotive related, and there are spaces that may contain a stray piece or two of automobilia that fits in with the decor of the room. My wife paints ceramics and she really likes the old season decorated pickup truck thing that is popular these days.
