    The ex mans from the 70s boxy Darts would wrap around the stock steering column like it was made for it.

    I've built 3 or 4 of this era Plymouth/Dodge, shifting the motor towards the p***enger side 1 1/2" solves the steering shaft clearance problem.

    Good luck trying to find a used manifold in a junkyard that isn't rotten or warped or both. You can buy the LA magnum truck manifolds new, they should fit as long as the engine isn't mounted too high or too far back.
    I have them on my 46 Plymouth.
