This reminds me of those little remote control mowers the DOT uses for steep inclines that they can’t use there tractors on…

So they had a 55 Nomad tailgate? OK!
They can tell you it started from just about anything. There are enough different pieces there, any one of them could have been the starting point and you wouldn't be able to argue with them.

I'll admit it as I've owned one for almost 39 years. Drop a built 351W, a 5 speed manual and some gears into a light little car and you'd have to be a ***** to not have fun with it. I've never understood the hate, even from fellow Mustang owners, but today I was yelled at while out with it and told that what a nice car it is. Hot rodders somehow blame the car for people putting the MII front end on their prized old rods.

I like it because of the T tops and I grew up watching the Batman TV show...lol! It's not a collectable so I have had a blast doing whatever I want to it and driving the wheels off if it. It's a fun car to drive, my wife calls it her chariot and that's all that really matters to me.

I like odd cars and this thread is full of stuff that other people like. I can respect that.

I think it has a Bently quality. I have heard of tweakers drinking their own urine, not for survival but for the high. This may be proof of this theory.

Cruella's car is no artwork, but it sure is a nicer Panther than the one above.

It’s not a Panther. As cartoonish as some of some of Jankel’s designs were, they were consistent. This is all over the board. From Reddit:
"Based on the Opel Astra F from the 1990s. The creator of this vehicle was apparently working with such a tight budget that he even kept the original wheel covers.
As crude as it is, it does look delightfully cartoonish. The distorted proportions actually work in its favor and the split windshield is spectacular. Quite a lot of work must have went into moving the steering wheel and pedals behind where the donor car had its front seats located. There aren't many custom cars that turn C pillars into B pillars."

Wow, that yellow, that grill, that thing is something else!

  26. if the PT cruiser was put on a full-size frame with a V8 optional engine and rwd. They would have owned the road tech service van market.

having it fwd and on the neon/ stratus platform was just dumb

The Playbunny coach was built in the 60's as an ISCA showcar. That son of a ***** was cooler than any Nomad I had ever seen. When it drove in to the KKOA leadsled show in Springfield Ohio in 1985 the ground shook .... The poor thing was ruined with pastel paint and other modern **** in the early 2000's... bunny.jpg bunny2.jpg
