    Well of course you did....you can't swing a cat without hitting half a dozen '47 Merc radios anywhere you look. LOL Great find!!!!

    If it was mine I’d leave the roof as is and rub it with some Gibbs Oil and the clear satin or flat. It is so cool and in my opinion would be the highlight of the car. Again if it was mine I’d do some good body work and paint everything but the roof candy red or green .

    I for one am seeing a vision from 1958 when one would have combined those two old cars and made one *****in '47 Merc powered, Merc braked, 2 spd. rear ended model A coupe chopped with a Coke sign roof insert
