I looked at the pic and said to my self.... WOW , that fits well...not a break the bank wallet build... but done just right...
They’re great looking trucks, for sure. But the interior room is on the “short” side. Particularly from the A post to the seat. I p***ed on one, got a 31, and still had a problem. Traded it for my 41 pickup. Regrets, ‘cuz it was a solid, NO rot, surface rust only truck.
Yup, interior room is scant. Kneecaps in nostrils cramped. Still, I'm 6'1" and find it doable, just not a long-trip kinda cruiser.
I built this (mostly check writing) and sold it 10 years ago. Many people expressed then that they couldn't have sold it. I was lucky enough to buy it back and there are no plans for it to go anywhere different.
Looks like that was taken at York Pa fairgrounds...? Looks an awful like the main building in the background. Oh yeah, the truck is killer to.
I bought a model A pickup back around 1990, paid $400 bucks for the little old school hot rod. It had juice brakes, split bones, real reversed rims with valve stems on the inside, chopped 32 grill and a Hurst mount for a sbc welded in. Looking back I really didn't know what I had and I should've turned down the $800 bucks and just kept that one, would've been a cool piece to bring back.
