    Hahahah
Well, at this point in time,... none.
I am having too much fun. Saying that... Owning multiple cars for me personally... just starts to get out of hand. Maintenance, insurance, general cost... just wears me down.
Anymore than 2 cars for me, starts to get real Un-Fun very fast.

I do have an itch to start something new... but I also want to build another Potent FE.
    Why?... no idea.
I am in no real rush because I truly feel the Old car market is still in a dramatic decline....... and it hasn't hit anywhere near bottom yet.
I believe the hobby is starting to reset itself and I am very happy to see this.

I will wait and see how it unfolds.

As for my 57's..... I just love them too much and they check all the boxes for me.

    Hello,

Ever since my brother and I started going to Reath Automotive on 10th and Cherry Avenue in Long Beach near our old high school, we always favored the sponsored race cars. We were hoping that one day, we, too, would have a Reath Automotive painted on the side of the doors or trunk lid. We were not the only ones that had that thought at the time.

Our initial Model A Coupe was going to be something and the ideas were flowing as we talked about what we(my brother) wanted to do.

    An old HAMB post:

One of the earliest photos of the famed Long Beach, CA Model A Altered Sedan was named Koening/Pick/Reath Automotive. Joe Koenig, Steve Pick and of course, Reath Automotive, all local So Cal racers and the popular speed shop. As most knew, Reath Automotive usually was ***ociated with the top racers in this region. They offered sponsorships from little to big time, or helped build a bunch of race cars and teams. This version was one of the very first ones in this same chopped Model A sedan in So Cal.

An updraft carburetor motor from Reath Automotive was used for experimental tests along with sharing it with other Long Beach Reath Automotive race cars and teams. (Bruce Wood****/Rakers Altered and the 32 Vicky of the Vulcans, etc.)

1958-59 Lions Dragstrip: white sedan with yellow highlights and wheels. The color combination provided everyone to identify with it immediately, while the distinct motor sound created an instant recognition in the pits and staging area.

Our favorite chopped Model A sedan, for which all others from 1958 followed in form, similar style and function, came from the Reath Automotive stable of hot rods. In 1958, a white Model A chopped sedan rolled into the pits with the name Koenig/Pick and Reath Automotive on the side. Then, over a period of time, the names changed on the door panel. (Sundin/Koenig or just Reath Automotive) with Dosser Automotive, a local Long Beach Jeep dealer, one of the last known names on the side.

I have been drawing this sedan over and over in different versions. My brother’s idea of progression was to start with a Gas Coupe Willys build, then go up to a Modified Altered Coupe or Sedan. Then finally, perhaps, an FED race car. Thoughts of teenagers aren’t always set in stone, but one can dream… with the funds available.

Then, just Reath Automotive, and the Dosser Bros. (owned a Jeep dealership in Long Beach, Dosser Automotive)

The body style called for a Moon Equipment version with a Potvin Blower set up.

But, the original sedan kept knocking on the old brain… Finally, I was able to get the version I liked and made it a more complete hot rod/drag race sedan.
