Technical Can anyone identify this speedometer?

Found this in a box at work. It looks like a 47 Ford with a different face and turned upside down. Mounting same as the Ford. Can anyone identify it?

 

'42-48 Ford is my guess. The color denotes year/model but I don't know the 'code' for that.

 

42 and 46 look similar

 

It’s 46 Ford

47-48 were gold or gray
