Because the battery cable end is not attached in the picture!
Since the cable end is resting on the generator, not up under the seat area where it would be stock, plus it is a 12v (skinny cable) I figured the battery had been relocated but then removed.

 

Yes, wrong cables and poor relocation under the hood. I’m working on it!

Been going through the wiring harness and replacing everything. Soldering, shrink tubing, and matching the colors to the factory service manual of course.
None of it is exciting but we all love pictures right!

 

Was going to buy new headlight pigtails at O’******x’x but could not bring myself to spend money on the **** they had on the hook. Instead realized I’d be way more satisfied rewiring the old sockets. Pretty cool that’s it’s even an option but maybe I’m just young!
