    Not sure of the carbs, but this is the Shaw "Burd Piston Ring Special"

    I think Miller made carbs as well as the engines.

    Beautiful engine! Interesting pic of the SR Winfields. I have been investigating the original color of these carbs lately and have found a number of variations. Many are definitely copper plated then darkened to a dark brown or black-ish tarnish. This pic shows an unusual deep black color with a nice sheen. Does anyone know the year…?

    I had a model of the 1938 Miller Indy car. Is this that same car?
